English Language Classes

Greenlane Christian Centre is a church that strives to include and engage with everyone in the community despite language and cultural differences. One of the key activities happening at the church to ensure this are the English Language Classes.

Coordinated by Cynthia Wallbridge, these free classes aim to provide help to those who struggle with the English language. With the constant flow of migrants into Auckland we recognised a huge need to assist with many cultures adapting to a New Zealand lifestyle. These free English classes provide the perfect way to bridge the gap between isolation and conversation.

These classes are free and are available during school terms in 2012 starting on 2nd February:

• Thursdays 7.30pm - 9.00pm
• Fridays 11.15am - 12.45pm
• Saturdays 9.30am - 11.00am

We also run social events throughout the year (dinners, folk dances, concerts) which are great fun and enable people to get to know each other socially as well.
