Life
Life is the 25-39 aged ministry of Greenlane Christian Centre. We connect spiritually, enjoy each others company socially, and relate to one another on many levels. Cell groups are a heart of Life. They are spread over Auckland and allow Lifer's to connect, share and care for one another, and study the Bible together.
There's loads of events happening throughout the year; Tramping, Dinners, Hot Pools, Camping, and more. Connecting widely with other churches and members through our events and cell groups, we operate as a casual social network with other people who have similar interests to organise activities including road trips, beach days, skiing, BBQs, games nights, holidays and movie nights, all whilst striving for a deeper relationship with God.

Life Cells
The GCC Life group has half a dozen Connect Cells which meet weekly for fellowship and fun. Following is an overview of some of the Cells.
Leaders - Mark and Rachael
Our cell group meets every Wednesday evening at 7:30pm in the Greenlane / One Tree Hill / Mt Wellington area. The group consists of both singles and couples, and the approximate age range is mid 30's to early 40's.
We start with coffee and supper, then usually do a study or have a time of sharing. The studies vary and we quite often do a DVD study series, or do topical studies, or members of the group take individual studies in a topic they are interested in.
Apart from study nights we also have worship/prayer nights and social nights - which might be a DVD at someone's house, a games evening, an event such as ten pin bowling, or a combined social event with one of the other cell groups.
Our cell groups are lots of fun and we share a lot of laughs. We would like to think we are both welcoming and friendly. Come along - check us out!
Leaders - John and Maree
We are part of a welcoming and friendly home-group of professional guys and girls in the 30+ age group. We meet on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm on a weekly basis alternating between Mt Albert and One Tree Hill areas.
Join us for fellowship over a cuppa before we begin each week's study. We open the evening in prayer and close the evening bringing our prayer points/needs before God. Our interactive Bible studies with opportunity for discussion, will include books/characters from the Bible as well as topical studies relating to issues relevant to us. One of our key verses for this group is taken from Hebrews 10:24-25 "And let us spur one another on toward love and good deeds...let us encourage one another". Prayer and praise evenings will be included in our group calendar. We also have opportunities for fellowship with fun social activities on a monthly basis. As a group we really want to encourage one another to connect with God, grow in our faith as we journey together in our service for Him.

Leaders - Rob & Taryn,
We're a sincere and vibrant group who love meeting together to study the word of God and to dig deeper in our relationship with Jesus. We see the Holy Spirit as an integral part of our lives and walk.
We also love to laugh, eat, enjoy friendship and hang out beyond our weekly meetings. So we make opportunities for that to happen through church, social events, as well as joining in with the wider Life group. Coming from diverse backgrounds, countries and experiences, we're drawn together by our awesome God and His incredible love.
Our cornerstone scripture is, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind," and we're learning how to do that, as we journey on that road together. Come join us!
Leaders – Craig & Jason
We're a bunch of God loving, God fearing believers who gather together each Wednesday to learn, discuss and worship God through song, testimony, studying scripture and prayer.
A key focus for the group is discovering spiritual gifts and equipping people with the keys to influence their world through the power of the Holy Spirit. The general format for each cell is to have a time of study/discussion followed by a time of prayer, usually in small groups.
We'll regularly catch up for social activities either during the week or over the weekend and get together once a year for a combined camp with one of the other home groups.
We meet at a house in One Tree Hill (approx 5 mins from GCC). We're a friendly bunch so come check us out and see what you think.
