Mothers Day 2012 - With Jacqui Wanhill (13th May 2012)

We were blessed to have Jacqui Wanhill share with us on this very special day. Jacqui has been involved in Christian ministry for most of her life.
For 17 years she was one of the Pastors at Windsor Park Baptist church on the North Shore. Her areas of ministry were Pastoral Care, Womens Ministries and Evangelism. She has a wide experience in ministry and is an accomplished speaker. Jacqui is passionate about helping people reach their potential in God. She has been married for 47yrs. She has 3 adult sons and 3 granddaughters.
Jacqui and her husband John, now manage a retreat centre in Torbay. She also currently counsels, mentors and supervises women in ministry.

Ps Friday Fumbilwa (29th April 2012)

All three services at GCC came alive with vibrant singing, dancing and a powerful message from Pastor Friday Fumbilwa. The worship team and choir from El Shaddai Worship Centre brought us much freedom and joy and there were even people dancing in the aisles! Pastor Friday is a dynamic and inspiring speaker and he encouraged us all to become Victor's and not Victims.

Fatherheart
(20th February 2011)
Greenlane was blessed to have the Fatherheart conference speakers at church one Sunday. Fresh from their Auckland seminar, they shared the strength and beauty of God's love with the church and the transformative power it has in our lives.

Ps John White is the Alpha Ministries Development Manager and oversees training for all Alpha Courses. Not only that but he is a much loved guest speaker at Greenlane Christian Centre who is always able to present timely, informative, and entertaining messages at church. What's It All About (5th June 2011)
Ps John White shares on the truth that no matter how many distractions exist in the world, be it tsunamis, earthquakes or other natural disasters, we must remain focussed on God and His vision for the world. With faith we will understand our place and the truth in action.

A Journey of Faith in the Midst of Tragedy (18th September 2011, PM Service)
Hayley Reynolds shares with us her journey of faith through her brother being diagnosed with leukemia. As well as the intense tragedy of the situation she addresses some of the theological issues around suffereing that often the church doesn't always address or address well. Be blessed by this amazing story and the insights that have come out of it.

Fools For Christ (20th November 2011, AM & PM Services)
Alan and Linda Stephenson share with our church family about all that God is doing through them in Tanzania. Alan and Linda are the leaders of the 'Joshua Foundation' an organisation that works to train both teachers for the government and pastors to extend the influence of Christ in their nation www.joshuaonline.org. They share an amazing story about the work that is going on in their ministry at the moment.

Ps. Paul Anslow brings a great message about hetting involved in the work of Christ here at GCC. He covers areas of both practical service, volunteering for a ministry or helping someone out, and the area of tithing as an act of worship and service. A great message.

Ps. John Kirikatrick bring us the vision for the churchgoing forward. He encapsulates that vision in one sentence about who we are as a congregation and then casts forward with 8 pracitcal ways for us to love God, each other, and serve the community in such a way that many people are brought to fath in Christ.
